Qualification: Diploma / Graduate Engineer.
Past Job profile: Must be working in Mechanical Design office (Industrial).
Experience: 10-20 years.
Software Knowledge: AutoCAD, Windows 10, MS Word.
Expected Salary: between 60K to 70K.
Job Requirement:
- Understanding the Project Equipment parameter’s such as Pressure, temperature and Flow,
- Preparation of plant layout w.r.t. placement of Buildings, Equipment and plant utility,
- Preparation of HMBD (heat mass balance diagram), water balance diagram and P&IDs such as water, feed & steam system,
- Preparation of tender specification for Boiler (WHRB/AFBC), Turbine (back-pressure/condensing), Cooling Tower (wet/dry), fuel handling system, water treatment system (DM/RO/Softener),
- Review of the quotations received from suppliers and prepare observations/comment for revision/incorporation in the revised quotation,
- POST-AWARD of Mechanical Equipment; review of the submitted P&ID’s, GA of the equipment and giving approval for further engineering and procurement,
- Review of the equipment foundation as per LOAD data & GA submitted by the supplier,
- Review of Supplier’s P&ID for various system,
- Preparation of tender specification for balance of plant such as air compressor, water pumps (CW/ACW/Raw Water/Effluent water transfer/service water), Non-IBR (Low Pressure water piping layout) BOQ (pipes, valves, drains, instrument, vent etc with pipe size, thickness, schedule),
- Preparation of plant layout showing pipe rack (steel) for accommodating various HP & LP (IBR & Non-IBR) pipe lines (water/air/service) from various equipment to Cooling Tower / Air compressors / Water pumps,
- Periodic visits to project site for inspection of the work and co-ordination with plant officials for progress and civil work w.r.t. plant layout,
- Co-ordination with suppliers for submission of load data, P&IDs and other GA for approval & revisions in-line with the system requirement,
- Assistance to the plant officials during plant commissioning and co-ordinate with suppliers.
